Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Chanel closed their stores in Russia

French fashion houses Louis Vuitton, Hermes, as well as Chanel temporarily close their boutiques in Russia because of the situation in Ukraine, reports TASS.

According to the representative of Louis Vuitton, 124 stores in Russia will be closed from March 6, given the situation in the region. Previously, the French trendy house announced that she sacrificed one million euros for helping children and families in Ukraine, affected by conflict.

“I regretfully decided to temporarily close our stores in Russia and suspend all commercial activities from March 4,” the Agency leads the application Hermes.

As stated by the fashion house Chanel, who has 17 boutiques in Russia, “serious uncertainty and difficulty in work” forced him to close stores, stop the supply of goods to Russia and suspend Internet trading.
