Lukashenko accused West of trying to change power in Belarus

President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko accused the West of growing pressure of Minsk. He stated this at a meeting on information policy, he is quoted by the presidential press service.

“We are actually under this press from the collective West – Washington and its allies. Intentions are known: destabilize society, change the constitutional system, bring the right people obedient to the West. The level of technology abandoned to realize these goals is very high” – said Lukashenko.

The Belarusian leader announced the need to discuss the strategy of counteracting modern threats in the field of national security: “We are not addressing this topic for the first time. Because it continues to be relevant. And not only continues to be, but the pressure on us is intensified. Therefore and counteraction should be appropriate on our part. “
