Aggressive hysteria in the West drowns out the voices of the mind, and there they do not want to hear the initiatives of Belarus. This was the President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, stated on June 20 at a meeting with foreign ministers of the CSTO member states, BelTA reports.
“Today, the aggressive hysteria, primarily in the West, drowns out the voices of wisdom and reason. They do not want to hear the initiatives of Belarus to restore trust, strengthen regional and international security,” said the Belarusian leader.
Lukashenko also announced the need to deepen interaction with the UN, SCO, and other international organizations. “We should deepen the interaction of the CSTO with the UN, SCO, other international organizations,” he said.
According to Lukashenko, the situation in the world is not in doubt that the CSTO countries need to be held together.
The Belarusian leader, including urgently, urged not to avoid problems, but “solving them, no matter how difficult.”
He noted that the time for the organization is now very difficult and requires maximum mobilization of strength, experience and resources to preserve the world. Giving an assessment of the activities of the CSTO, Lukashenko noted that the organization sometimes correctly criticized for the lack of solving specific problems.
for example, Kyrgyzstan has long been asking for help in resolving the conflict with Tajikistan. Armenia puts forward justified claims. If we do not solve these problems, then the CSTO countries will always blame each other, express the work of the organization. Therefore, no matter how we are They twisted, neither tweaks, you need to plunge into the problems of the CSTO countries and look for a way out, ”he said.
“There are problems, there are tasks, they must be solved, no matter how difficult they are. And sometimes we do not want to solve them because of their difficulty,” said Lukashenko. He emphasized that if our “friends-advisers” from the West fit into the solution of these problems, then it will be much more difficult to do something.
