Lukashenko announced strengthening of position of Belarus as nuclear power

The commissioning of the second power unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant strengthens the position of the republic as a nuclear power.

This is stated in the congratulation of Alexander Lukashenko to employees and veterans of the energy industry on the Energy Day. The text of the congratulation was published on Friday by the presidential press service.

The domestic energy complex is one of the most important components of the industrial and innovative development of the national economy, the head of state noted.
