Lukashenko: Belarusians and Finns need to restore lost connections

The creation of further barriers between Belarusians and Finns does not correspond to common interests, two peoples need to restore lost connections.

This is stated in the congratulatory message of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko to the people of Finland on the occasion of Independence Day. The text of the message was published on Wednesday, December 6, the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Unfortunately, the president noted, today an unstable and contradictory situation in a single space negatively affects the sustainable development of both countries, prevents the possibility of receiving mutual benefits.

“Political figures of your state for many decades have made a significant contribution to the resolution of very complex conflicts for the peaceful coexistence of peoples,” follows from the text of the message.

So, it was in Helsinki that the historical final act of the meeting on security and cooperation in Europe was signed, the president recalled.

“Belarus also a long period of time promotes the implementation of the initiative to organize a wide multilateral dialogue to strengthen trust, security and interaction in the region,” the congratulatory text says.

It is necessary to return to the restoration of the lost and the formation of new economic and humanitarian ties, Lukashenko emphasized.
