President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the people of Ukraine on Independence Day. This was reported by the press service of the Belarusian leader.

Independence Day of Ukraine is the country’s state holiday, annually celebrated on August 24 in honor of the adoption by the Supreme Council of the Ukrainian SSR of the Decree and the act of proclamation of the independence of Ukraine, which is considered to be the date of education of the state of Ukraine in modern form.
