In Belarus, political changes will begin after the adoption of the new version of the Constitution. The system will be more democratic, said President Alexander Lukashenko, Russian media write.
“everything will be more democratic than someday,” he said. At the same time, the head of Belarus emphasized that there will be no decentralization of power in the country, and the main authority will remain concentrated in the hands of the president.
Earlier, the vote on amendments to the Constitution of Belarus took place on February 27, and on March 15 the adopted changes entered into force. Among the most significant adjustments of the Basic Law of the Republic: vesting with the broad powers of the All -Belorussian People’s Assembly and restriction of the two terms of the country’s president.
