President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko will head to Azerbaijan on April 13 on April 13, BelTA was informed in the press service of the Belarusian leader.
A two-day program involves a rich negotiation agenda. In particular, the head of the Belarusian state Alexander Lukashenko and the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will hold two meetings. One of them will take place immediately upon arrival of the Belarusian leader in Baku. In the informal setting of the head of state, the main directions of Belarusian-Azerbaijani relations and strategic issues of bilateral cooperation will be discussed.
The official part of the negotiations is scheduled for Wednesday. The meeting of the presidents will be held in narrow and expanded compositions with the participation of members of the delegations. The focus will be paid to the expansion of trade and economic cooperation and filling the cooperation with new content. The parties will consider issues of industrial cooperation, the implementation of current and promising projects in the field of production and supply of food, processing of agricultural products. Rather and no less relevant topics: cooperation in health care, scientific and technical, educational and tourist spheres.
Heads of state will also exchange views on topical issues of the International Agenda.
Following the negotiations is expected to sign bilateral documents.
