President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, said that the republic was able to resist the largest states, explaining that in modern conditions the outcome of military operations no longer depends on the number of army and its military power, BelTA reports.
“It is necessary to fight not by number, but by the ability, as our famous commander once said. This acquires serious relevance today. This suggests that the state as Belarus is quite capable of opposing the largest states” , – said Lukashenko at a meeting in the Ministry of Defense in Minsk.
He also noted that the Belarusian army is ready, if necessary, for hostilities: “But I emphasize once again: hot war is what we can do and will do if God forbid. The information confrontation that precedes the hot war and accompanies any military confrontation, it is very important to believe that it is difficult to fight with those countries that have not only military power, but also a large population. However, today the outcome of military operations does not depend on this factor, as it was before ” .
