Lukashenko: Ukraine Goes With Kursk Region To Increase Bets

Actions in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation Ukraine are going to increase bets, hoping to win the best positions in the event of negotiations. This was stated by President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in an interview with Russian television.

According to the Belarusian leader, “now this tactics will not work.”

“I agree with Putin when he said that there was a struggle to increase bets. What they [the authorities of Ukraine] want, if there are negotiations, to win a stronger position. But another question arises: in such a situation and in the like, who is in the likes who are in the like. There will be negotiations with them?

According to Lukashenko, Russian President Vladimir Putin and the RF Armed Forces will “demolish the Ukrainian military” in the Kursk region.

The President of Belarus also noted that the agreements reached in Istanbul could become a base for starting new peace negotiations in Ukraine.

He added that “escalation from Ukraine is pushing Russia to take asymmetric measures, including the use of nuclear weapons.”

Lukashenko said that Ukraine holds 120 thousand soldiers on the border with Belarus.

At the same time, he noted that “the defense of the border of Belarus in the West was worked out by Minsk and Moscow, if necessary, this plan can be changed to an offensive.”
