Belarus, without drawing conclusions from the events of 2020, can repeat the experience of Ukraine, President Alexander Lukashenko said.
“If we do not conclude from what happened in 2020 and after, we will take a major step towards Ukrainian events. But it will be more difficult for us than Ukraine,” Lukashenko said at a meeting in Minsk. His words are given by Interfax.
Lukashenko also called on “clearing society” from politically engaged people in non -profit organizations. “They entrusted people outwardly with noble ideas, which at the right time acquired a political color. We saw this in 2020. And they, driven by the desire to help those in need, protect nature, protect our smaller brothers, turned out to be hostages of the west of destructive forces. It turns out that these are these these NPOs, the Society for the Protection of Dogs, Cats, Animals never defended anyone. And they were not going to protect, ”said Lukashenko.
“Under this fashionable sign, we were thrown out (and we rejoiced) politically engaged people. They paid a lot to the leaders, they gathered there (also paid a little) you know which people who were thrown to the side of the road, moreover, they were rightly thrown away. And now they are. And now they are They spilled out in the forefront in 2020, ”said Lukashenko.
In his opinion, this happened due to the connivance of the authorities. “There were such small islands in our society, which absorbed everything that we had to fight against. And we received. Fortunately, the process has gone tough now. I would like the authorities to understand that society should be cleaned from these villains”, – said the President of Belarus.
