French President Emmanuel Macron said that Paris would continue to support Kyiv as much as necessary. The French leader reported this during a meeting with the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky in New York.
According to the Eliseisian Palace, the meeting of the two leaders took place on the fields of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.
“Security of Ukraine is an integral part of Europe security,” said Macron.
During the meeting, the leader of France emphasized that Ukraine has the right to protect itself and its citizens in contact in the continuing conflict with Russia.
Macron also expressed support for the peaceful plan of Zelensky and announced the determination to work with those who are in search of steps that will be better to protect the civilian population, reduce the influence of the war on global stability and will contribute to the achievement of a fair and durable world.
