French President Emmanuel Macron, Chancellor of Germany Olaf Sholts and Italian Prime Minister Mario Draga plan to visit Kyiv. It is reported by Bild Am Sonntag.
According to the newspaper, they planned a visit for the current month and are going to visit the capital of Ukraine before the G7 summit, which will be held on June 26-28. Bild Am Sonntag emphasizes that Scholz and Macron have long been discussing this trip, and the visit itself should become a demonstration of European unity on Ukraine. In addition, it was Macron who suggested inviting Mario Draga to Kyiv.
Earlier, Estonian Prime Minister Kai Kallas said that due to the consequences of sanctions introduced against Russia, which are reflected differently in every European country, it is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain the unity of the European Union.
