Currently, the war is on the territory of Europe. This was stated by French President Emmanuel Macron, commenting on the situation in Ukraine.
“War goes on European land. Between Strasbourg and Lviv less than 1,500 km. Can you imagine? There is a war in this country,” said the French leader on the air of France 2 and TF1.
According to the politician, if Russia wins the war, “trust in Europe will fall to zero.” “It is impossible to allow Russia to win, because in this case there will be no more security in Europe,” Macron warned.
At the same time, the president noted that his country is not fighting with Russia, but only supports Ukraine. “We have only one goal: Russia cannot and should not win this war,” the French leader explained.
Answering the question about the “nuclear threat” from Russia, Macron emphasized that “nuclear potential gives security to the French.”
At the same time, according to the Le Monde newspaper, Macron, during one of the events in the Champs Elysees, said that “next year he would have to send the military to Odessa.”
