Madagascar: Landslide Took Away Lives Of 16 People

As a result of the landslide gathering in the western part of Madagascar, in the Menab region, 16 people who were on board the boat were killed.

According to the authorities, around midnight, a boat floating along the River of Cyribikhin was moored at the port of one of the settlements of the Menab region, and at that moment the landslide was gone.

It is noted that the landslide also damaged the port. Of the 26 passengers of the boat, 16 people died at the scene.

According to the authorities, 10 passengers were saved, their condition is evaluated as satisfactory.

The boat made a flight between the cities of Belo-Sur-Ziribikhin and Ankalalaobier in the Menab region.
