Iran builds its reserves of uranium for its further enrichment by preparing for the use of advanced centrifugs IR-6 at its underground facility in Fordo, according to the report of the International Atomic Energy Agency (Magate), which Reuters,
On Saturday, Iran’s inspectors confirmed that Iran is ready to serve a gaseous uranium hexafluoride in centrifuges in Fordo, the Magate’s confidential report says. Iran informed the Magate on Monday that the process began on Sunday.
It is noted that a cascade of 166 machines facilitates switching to the enrichment of uranium to other levels of purity. Western diplomats have long noted that this equipment is concerned, since it can allow Iran to quickly enrich Uranus. In addition, Iran clearly did not tell the agency to what cleanliness the centrifuge cascade can enrich uranium. Earlier, Tehran said the IARTE that the IR-6 can be used to enrich uranium up to 5% or 20%. Uranus with a 235U isotope content is called highly enriched or weapons.
“The agency has not yet received clarifications from Iran regarding what method of production he intends to introduce for the aforementioned cascade,” the report said.
It is also noted that the 2015 deal does not allow the enrichment of uranium in Fordo.
