President of the Republic Malawi Lazarus Chakver accepted on Monday the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kulebu.
“In the continuation of the dialogue between the Ukrainian and Malavian leaders, I had the honor of being accepted by President Lazarus Chakver in Lilongva. We value Malawi’s firm and consistent position in relation to Russian aggression against Ukraine, as well as its support for the Communist of the World Summit,” the said in Publications of the Foreign Ministry of Ukraine in telegram.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry noted that “Ukraine is not only grateful, but also wants to be useful, and is aware of the serious impact of climate change on Malawi’s food security.”
“On behalf of the President of Zelensky, I said that Ukraine decided to help Malawi as part of our Grain From Ukraine program. We also discussed the potential of mutually beneficial cooperation in agriculture, pharmaceuticals, dijitation and other areas,” said the Foreign Minister.
