A strong influx of illegal immigrants in New York can destroy the city, so it is necessary to more effort of the state to solve the migration crisis, the mayor Eric Adams said.
“This problem will destroy New York. 10 thousand migrants arrive in the city every month. People from all over the world decided to gather, go to the southern border of the United States and arrive in New York,” the words of Adams quotes.
He turned to the American authorities for greater support to contain the flow of illegal immigrants, and also emphasized that to change the situation “a real change of policy is needed.”
“As we declare every month, only more support from the state, federal partners, as well as a real change in the political course in Washington will really help to cope with this crisis,” said the mayor of New York.
