The Armed Forces of Ukraine completely liberated the Kharkov region, reports the military correspondent Haqqin.az in Ukraine.
Earlier, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his evening video message said that the APU had already freed more than 450 settlements from Russian invaders in the Kharkov region.
On September 6, the Ukrainian army began a counterattack in the Kharkov region. On September 11, five days after the start of the counterattack, the Russian Ministry of Defense, as part of a daily report, published a map, according to which Russian troops lost control of 8370 square kilometers in the region. An attempt by the RF Armed Forces to organize a new line of defense along the Oskol rivers and Seversky Donets did not lead to success: by the end of September, the Armed Forces of Ukraine organized a number of bridgeheads on the other side of both rivers and developed an offensive in the direction of the Luhansk region.
