Medvedev: United States And Other NATO Participants “included In Full -fledged War” Against Russian Federation

The United States and other NATO participants joined in a full -fledged war against Russia after the use of long -range missiles for strikes on the Kursk and Bryansk regions. This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in an interview with Al Arabiya, commenting on the consequences of the use of long -range Western missiles in Russian territory.

“This still changes the course of clashes and what is happening because it indicates that the NATO Blok, Washington and other participants in this alliance, in fact, were no longer included in the hybrid, but a full -fledged war against our country,” – Medvedev said. And this, according to him, “will not be left without consequences.”

Touching the topic of the possibility of lifting sanctions against Russia under the new administration in Washington, Medvedev said that the elected US President Donald Trump after taking office is unlikely to instantly cancel everything. “Moreover, in a number of sanctions, in fact, he insisted in a certain period,” he recalled.

“In a certain sense, the cessation of sanctions is not in the interests of a number of sectors of the American economy. What [Donald Trump] will be guided by considerations, I do not know, but this really needs to be done. Just in order to restore normal economic cooperation,” emphasized Russian politician.

Speaking about the possibility that Donald Trump can achieve the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict, Medvedev said that “he can do this because all the keys are in Washington.”

At the same time, he emphasized that the Russian Federation “counts only on his own strength.”

“We rely only on ourselves and from the point of view of our defense capabilities, from the point of view of the fate of this conflict and our undoubted victory in this conflict, and from the point of view of building relations with other countries,” said the deputy chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian Federation.

Medvedev also commented on the sanctions policy of the West in relation to Russia, in particular, regarding the termination of Russian gas supplies to Europe.

The Russian politician noted that Donald Trump once wanted to limit the supply of Russian gas to Europe and sell American energy resources there. “What is happening now. But our gas is not in Europe. Therefore, Europeans are freezing, and their production stops,” he says.
