In the Turkish province of Rize, a meeting of the board of the Union of Municipalities of the Turkic world (TDBB) was held. The head of TDBB and the mayor of the city of Konya Ugur Ibrahim Altai.
Altai noted that during the event it was decided to declare the Turkish city of Riza and the Kyrgyz city of Tyup cities-scrapes.
According to him, one of the goals of TDBB is to strengthen the connections between the municipalities of various cities of the Turkic countries. “This decision will become an important start for the rapprochement of the Turkic world,” he said.
Altai emphasized that TDBB performs important work, strengthening the connections between the municipalities of the cities of the Turkic world, expanding the cooperation between the scope cities.
Mayor RIZHMI METIN, in turn, noted that he was glad to accept such an event in his city. He recalled that the cities of Rize and Tyup are native cities of the presidents of Turkey and Kyrgyzstan.
