Chanlyurf will become a place of a meeting of the musical cities of UNESCO, which will be held in 2026.
Mayor of the capital’s municipality, Shanlyurfs Mehmet Kasim Gulpinar, at a press conference, that the city, famous for its ancient history, rich cultural heritage and deeply rooted musical traditions, achieved important success, receiving the title of “City of music” within the framework of the Creative cities of UNESCO.
