Meeting of representatives of authorities of Azerbaijan and Armenian residents of Karabakh ended in Yevlah

In the Azerbaijani city of Evkla, a meeting of representatives of the authorities of Azerbaijan and residents of the Armenian origin of the Karabakh region of the Republic.

Azerbaijan’s central authorities at the negotiations represented Rammadov, who was responsible for contacts with the Armenian residents living in the Karabakh region of Azerbaijan, deputy special representative of the President of Azerbaijan at the territories exempted from the occupation of the Karabakh Economic District (with the exception of the Shushinsky district) Bashir Gadzhiev and Employee of a special representative office Ilkin Sultanov.

The meeting was attended by a representative of the Russian peacekeeping contingent.

The meeting discussed the issues of reintegration based on the constitution and laws of Azerbaijan.

Anti -terrorist measures of a local nature undertaken by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces in Karabakh, ended with the surrender of separatists. Given the appeal of representatives of the Armenian population of Karabakh through the Russian peacekeeping contingent, an agreement was reached on complete ceasefire, and the anti -terrorist measures of a local nature were suspended on September 20 at 13:00 local time.

At the suggestion of the Administration of the President of Azerbaijan, a meeting with representatives of the Armenian residents of Karabakh was scheduled for September 21 in Yevlah.
