The ex-Chancellor of Germany, Angela Merkel, believes that the European Union countries should work on the creation of pan-European security architecture, while Russia will also be involved in its creation, German media reports.
In her opinion, it is important to continue to work “on a pan -European architecture with Russia with the participation of Russia,” even if “it will require a lot of excerpt”.
At the same time, the ex-Chancellor once again severely criticized the war in Ukraine, calling it a violation of international law.
