For the first nine months of 2021, 13,231 incident of a natural and technogenic nature were registered on the territory of Azerbaijan. During the incident, as a result of the effective activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 36 people managed to save. This HaqQin.Az was told in the press service of the department.
According to the report, this indicator is more than 89% compared to the same period last year, or by 17 people.
In addition, in connection with the incidents registered during the reporting period, 496 people were evacuated by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which, compared with last year, more than 113 people.
For the 9 months of this year, 36 people were killed as a result of the incidents of natural and man-made character, which is less than 8 percent compared to last year. In addition, 159 people got different injuries.
Most of the registered cases falls on the proportion of technogenic cases related to the human factor, in particular, to the share of fires. In this regard, the Ministry of Emergency Situations again encourages the population to be attentive and vigilant, strictly follow the safety rules.
