The presence of the RKK terrorist organization in Syria is a big problem. This was stated by the head of the Democratic Party of Kurdistan (DPP) Mesut Barzani, commenting on the current events on the şems TV channel.
Barzani noted that in Syria, signs of the fall of the Assad regime were previously outlined, but no one expected that he would collapse so soon.
“In 2011, the regime actually collapsed, but Iran, Russia and the Lebanese Hezbollah held him afloat,” he said.
The head of the DPK also expressed the hope that the new administration in Syria is aware of the Kurdish reality.
“Kurds in this country should try to achieve their rights and resolve their problems with peaceful means and through dialogue,” he said.
Barzani also attracted attention to the destructive role of RSC terrorists in this region.
“The time has come for the RKK to abandon the Syrian Kurds. The presence of the RSC in Syria is a big problem,” he said.
Speaking about relations between Turkey and the Kurdish regional administration of Iraq (Territory), Barzani called them “good”, and also expressed the hope that this would contribute to the establishment of peace in the region.
“We always emphasized fraternal ties between the Kurds and the Turks at official meetings,” he added.
