The American Corporation META has launched a new Threads text messages, which will become an analogue of the Twitter social network, owned by American billionaire Ilon Mask.
The application has become available for download in the AppStore since July 6.
As indicated in the annotation in the App Store online store, Threads is the place in which the communities are gathering to “discuss everything: from those who excite today to the trend tomorrow.”
The application will support more than 30 languages, including English, Chinese and Russian.
Posts in Threads can contain up to 500 characters and include links, photos and videos up to five minutes. You can enter the application using the Instagram account, from there you can postpone your subscriptions.
The application is designed to become a competitor to Twitter, owned by American billionaire Ilon Mask. The interface has similar features from Twitter, including blue icons with a checkmark, which confirm the presence of verification users.
The head of META Mark Zuckerberg said that in the first four hours, 5 million accounts were created on the new network.
