Mexico: 90 people died due to abnormal heat from beginning of year

In Mexico, 90 people have died due to abnormal heat from the beginning of the year.

According to the Mexican media, the number of those killed due to the influence of extremely high temperatures grows in states such as Verakrus, Tabasco, Tamaulipas, Nuevo-Leon and San Luis-Potoshi.

According to the Ministry of Health of Mexico, only from May 29 to June 29 people died due to the consequences of the abnormal heat. About two thousand people turned to hospitals with complaints of a thermal blow.

The National Meteorological Service (SMN) predicts that in the coming days an extremely high temperature wave will continue in the country. Persons with chronic diseases are recommended not to go outside at certain hours without the need.

The National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) said that in the last 15 days of May the highest temperatures in the history of the country have been observed. In 14 states of Mexico, the air temperature exceeds 40 degrees.
