A passenger bus turned over in the Mexican state of Ohak, as a result of which 18 people were killed, another 29 were injured.
The state governor Salomon Hara told the press that the bus, which was traveling from the capital of the country of Mexico City, had crashed on the Mitla-Teuantepek highway.
According to him, among the injured 29 people, two are in serious condition. All wounded were delivered to hospitals.
The governor expressed condolences to the families of the dead and noted that the causes of the accident will be investigated.
According to the local press, the dead were supporters of the ruling party “National Movement Movement” (Morena) and returned from the rally of President Claudia Sheinbaum, who held on Sunday in Mexico City.
