Mexico Is Preparing To Resist Mass Deportation Of Migrants In United States

Mexican authorities are developing a program of employment for immigrants, which are expected to be deported in accordance with decisions adopted by US President Donald Trump. This was stated by President of Mexico Claudia Sheinbaum.

“The Council for Labor Coordination proposed about 35 thousand jobs for the Mexicans who can be deported from the United States. I thank them. These positions cover various industries, mainly the production sector,” the president of Mexico said. < /p>

In order to counteract the challenges created by Trump’s policy, the Shanbaum administration developed the Mexico Plan initiative.

The goal of the initiative is to turn Mexico into one of the 10 largest economies in the world, an increase in annual investments to more than 25 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), the creation of 1.5 million additional jobs.

It is worth noting that the practice of deportation from the United States is provided not only for Mexicans, but also for migrants from other countries, since Mexico as a US neighbor is a transit country.

There are fears that due to possible deportation in the United States, millions of migrants will arrive in Mexico.

According to CNN, the Mexico authorities are preparing for the reception of migrants who are not related to the country.

In order to counteract the influx of deported refugees, temporary shelters are created, and mainly on the border with the United States.

In the cities of Matamoros, Raynos and Nuevo-Ledo, located on the border with the United States, shelters began to build up to 2500 shelters. The construction of temporary shelters is also underway in other border regions of Mexico.
