Delegation of the Ministry of National Defense of Turkey, headed by Deputy Minister Mukhsin Der, visited Nakhchivan.
The press service of the Ministry of Defense reports that, expressing satisfaction with the visit of the Turkish delegation to Nakhchivan, Chairman of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan, Vasif Talybov, spoke about military cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Notifying the work done between Nakhchivan AR and Turkey in the field of army construction, and the military exercises held, the Chairman of the Supreme Majlis noted the provision of defense capability and safety of Nakhchivan, stressing the political support for Turkey in the second Karabakh war.
Expressing appreciation for the rendered reception, Deputy Minister of National Defense of Turkey Muhxin Teres emphasized the importance of work carried out in the sphere of army construction as an integral part of bilateral relations, noted the important strategic and geographical importance of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.
The parties also exchanged views on the prospects for cooperation.
