Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev adopted the Minister of National Defense of Turkey Yashar Guler.
According to the president’s press service, it was emphasized at the meeting that friendly and fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are successfully developing in all directions, including in the military sphere.
In this regard, the satisfaction of the conduct of joint Azerbaijani -Turkish tactical teachings in various corners of Azerbaijan Mustafa Kemal Ataturk – 2023, demonstration during them high professionalism and skills.
The head of the Turkish Ministry of Defense emphasized that these teachings coincided with the 100th birthday of the national leader, former president of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev.
During the conversation, the role of regular meetings and contacts of the heads of state of Azerbaijan and Turkey in the development of bilateral relations was noted, the importance of the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in September this year was emphasized.
The meeting was especially noted that as a result of anti -terrorist measures carried out by Azerbaijan last month, the sovereignty of our country was completely restored.
During the conversation it was emphasized that Yashar Guller’s visit to Azerbaijan serves the development of ties of the two countries, including strengthening cooperation in the military sphere, an exchange of opinions on the prospects of cooperation took place.
