Militia “Al-Khashd Ashhabi” announced death of 16 people due to US attack

As a result of the US attack on the weapon warehouse in the Iraqi province of Anbar, 16 members of the Al-Khashd Ashhabi Shiite militia were killed, another 25 people were injured. This was reported by the operational command “Al-Khashd Ashhabi” in the province of Anbar.

Earlier, the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (CentCom) announced the application of air strikes for objects belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Corps of the Islamic Revolution (KSIR) and the associated groups in Iraq and Syria.

As a result of air strikes, at least 85 goals belonging to the special forces of the Al -KudS KSIR and related groups in Iraq and Syria are affected, the report said.

In turn, the military representative of the Iraq Prime Minister General Yahya Rasul condemned the US strikes, calling them a “violation of the country’s sovereignty.”

According to him, the US Air Force strikes were subjected to the Iraqi city of al-Kaim and the border regions of the province of Anbar in the west of Iraq.

“These attacks occurred at a time when Iraq is making every effort to ensure stability in the region. This is a violation of the sovereignty of Iraq and undermines the efforts of the Iraqi government,” he said.

It was reported that as a result of the US attack, an arms warehouse belonging to the Al -Khashd al -Shaabi Shiite militia in the west of Iraq was injured.

Earlier, on October 28, as a result of an attack on the American base called “Tower 22”, three American military were killed, even more than 40 people were injured.
