In Israel, an 84-year-old millionaire, who died a few months ago, bequeathed all his fortune to a nurse and her husband, who looked after him in the last years of his life. The deceased wrote off only 10 shekels to the only son who lives abroad. Reported by Vesty.co.il.
The son of the deceased tried to appeal the will, arguing that the nurse and her husband forced the feeble ward to endorse the “forgery”. He also demanded that he be recognized as the sole legal heir.
However, during the trial, it turned out that the millionaire’s son did not keep in touch with his father, never visited him and did not even come to the funeral. It was also noted that the will was signed in the presence of a notary, who confirmed that the millionaire was in a sober mind. The judge considered the arguments of the millionaire’s son unconvincing and ruled that the last will of the deceased would be carried out in full.
