Minister Of Culture And Tourism Of Turkey Holds Meetings In Uzbekistan

The Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersa visited the historical city of Bukhara in Uzbekistan, where he arrived on an official visit.

Ersa, who examined the historical places of Bukhara, accompanied by the chairman of the State Committee on Tourism of Uzbekistan Umid Shadiev and the deputy governor of the Bukhara region Batyrjan Shakhriyarova, first visited the mausoleum of Bahaddin Nakshbandi.

Then Ersa and the delegation accompanying him were visited by the Lebi Havuz complex in the old part of Bukhara, where the historical buildings of Bukhara, Mirza Ulugbey and Abdulazizkhan, Minaret and Kalan Madrasa, as well as the Arc Castle were located – was the Palace of Emir Bukhara.

The Minister also visited the city of Bukhara, where new hotels and objects of tourist infrastructure are being built, and then visited the building of the Association of Women-Entrepreneurs created with the support of Tika.

In his speech, Ersa expressed joy about the presence of the Association of Women entrepreneurs in the Bukhara branch, which is one of the best examples of brotherhood and solidarity, strengthening the strong ties of Turkey with the friendly and fraternal Uzbekistan.

He noted that Bukhara is the common value not only of Uzbekistan, but also of all mankind with its historical depths and cultural wealth. Ersa emphasized that in the new service building of the Bukhara branch of the Association of Women entrepreneurs, craft projects of women entrepreneurs will be implemented and their work and perseverance will be demonstrated.

The Minister noted that the long -standing relations of friendship and fraternity between Turkey and Uzbekistan are strengthened every day in the cultural and economic spheres, and said: “We believe that the relationship between the two countries is waiting for a bright future under the strong leadership of the presidents of Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Shevkete Mirziyoyeva.

Remembering that since 1992, through the TIKA line in Uzbekistan, more than a thousand projects and events for millions of dollars in the field of education, healthcare, agriculture, livestock, the assistance of cultural life, professional training, development of administrative and civil infrastructure, and the provision of extraordinary and humanitarian aid, Ersa summed up: “We are always with Uzbekistan and we know that Uzbekistan is always with us. We are ready to do our best to further strengthen this bridge of brotherhood, friendship and heart established regardless of distances.”
