Minister Of Defense Of Armenia Visited Georgia On Visit

The Minister of Defense of Armenia Suren Papikyan arrived on an official visit to Georgia.

According to the Ministry of Defense of Georgia, on September 2, Papikyan’s meeting with the Georgian colleague Irakli Chikovani took place.

According to the agency, ministers “spoke about the importance of friendly relations between neighboring countries, peace and stability in the region.” The parties also discussed the directions provided for by the double -sided cooperation plan between the defense departments of Georgia and Armenia for 2024.

As part of the visit, the Minister of Defense of Armenia was adopted by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobahidze. This is stated in the message of the Government of the Georgia.

According to information, the meeting “paid attention to friendly relations and cooperation in the field of defense” between the two countries.

“It is noted that the declaration of strategic partnership signed between the two countries creates a good basis for deepening the partnership between Georgia and Armenia in various directions,” the report said.
