Egyptian Minister of Defense Abdel Magid Sakr called on military personnel of the Third Field Army to maintain combat readiness at the highest level. This is stated in the message made by the representative of the Egyptian army by Colonel Garib Abdulkhafiz.
Minister of Defense, chief of the General Staff of the ESR of Egypt Ahmed Fethim Ibrahim Khalifa, as well as a large number of commanders took part in the main stage of the project to create mobilization control centers of the Third Field Army, ”the message said.
The main phase of the exercises conducted as part of the combat training plan of the formations and units of the Armed Forces continued for several days, but clear information about the place and duration of the exercises is not given.
The message notes that the Minister of Defense of Egypt Sakr monitored the main phase of the exercises within the framework of the project and instructed the “military personnel of the Third Field Army to maintain combat readiness at the highest level”.
It is noted that the SAKR met with a number of project participants to discuss the possibilities of its implementation and the adoption of the most correct decisions in order to respond to unforeseen situations that may arise during the operations management.
The Minister of Defense of Egypt indicated that “the military personnel of the Third Field Army must maintain the highest level of combat readiness in order to be able to fulfill the missions and responsibility assigned to them in any circumstances.”
The most important tasks of the Third Field Army of Egypt are to ensure the security of borders along the Sinai Peninsula and Gaza Sector.
