Ukrainian Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov estimated the likelihood of a significant escalation of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict as low. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian military department.
“The likelihood of a significant escalation for today continues to be evaluated as low,” the words of Interfax leads.
According to Reznikov, the Ukrainian military calculate all possible scenarios and make all the necessary actions for neutralizing threats.
Reznikov noted that in a few days active Russian-Belarusian military exercises will begin, which can last until February 20, but from the Ukrainian side “everything is necessary to control similar situations.” The minister stressed that Ukraine acts as planned and coordinated to eliminate any provocations.
