According to the results of 2022, Azerbaijan plans to put 11.5 billion cubic meters of gas in Europe in accordance with the contracts concluded earlier, the Minister of Energy of Azerbaijan Parviz Shakhbazov on the sidelines of the “Russian Energy Week”
told reporters.
He noted that next year the volume of exports may remain at the same level or will be slightly higher.
Shakhbazov also said that the capacities of the southern gas corridor (South Coast) can be doubled by 2027.
“There are plans to expand the South Coast. It can be practically dilated by 2027. In the direction of Turkey, 16 billion cubic meters can be increased to 31 billion, and then according to the transdriatic pipeline – from 10 billion to 20 billion cubic meters per year”, – said the minister.
