Minister Of Finance Of Turkey Discussed Development Of Economic And Defense Cooperation In United States

Ankara (AA) – Turkish Minister of Finance Mehmet Shimshka continued his negotiations in the United States as part of the G20, IMF and World Bank meetings. In Washington, he met with the US Minister of Finance Scott Bessant. The statement made by the Ministry of Finance of Turkey notes that the meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere with the participation of the head of the Central Bank of Turkey Fatikha Karakhan.

During the discussion, the importance of lifting restrictions was emphasized, including in the field of cooperation in the fields of investment, trade, transport and energy. Particular attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the field of defense and the removal of existing restrictions.
