Ex-president of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili will be returned to prison No. 12 in Rustavi, as soon as the Ministry of Justice will receive the appropriate medical conclusion and the consent of the medical staff, said the head of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, Rati Bregadze, speaking in parliament, reports Sputnik Georgia.
Saakashvili is currently in the military hospital of Gori, where the course of treatment is under the hunger strike. There was after he became bad in the prison clinic for 50 day of the hunger strike. After the arrest of the ex-president of Georgia on October 1, the place of serving the six-year term, he was determined by the establishment of punishments No. 12 in the city of Rustavi.
“After we have the appropriate medical conclusion and the consent of the medical personnel, Saakashvili will be transferred to the institution No. 12,” said Bregadze.
