Minister Of Oil And Gas: Libya Strives For Strategic Partnership With Turkey In Field Of Energy

Libya considers Turkey an energy hub and is ready to develop with her strategic partnership in the field of energy. This was stated by the Minister of Oil and Gaza Libya Chalice Redzheb Abdulsadek.

“Most of the natural gas supplied to Europe passes through Turkey. It also has modern technologies in the field of renewable energy. We want to use these capabilities and consider Turkey as a strategic partner in all areas of energy,” said Khalifa Abdussadins

The minister noted that Libya wants to develop current cooperation with Turkey.

“We are currently announcing a tender for exploration of oil and natural gas in our field. There are many projects that we can work together,” he said.

Invitation to the sphere of renewable energy

The minister noted that their invitation to Turkey is not limited to hydrocarbon resources, and also covers renewable energy.

“Libya has a strategic position from the point of view of solar energy. We get a large amount of sunlight, which makes our country attractive in terms of investment in renewable energy. In addition, we believe that we have potential in wind energy. Turkey is Turkey One of the countries that we consider as partners in these projects, ”added Khalifa Abdussadyk.

The minister emphasized that work is underway on projects, thanks to which both parties will “win”.
