The Ministry of Defense of Moldova will find opportunities to increase the defense capacity of the state, and air defense remains a priority. This was stated by Minister of Defense Anatoly Nosyaty, reports Moldpres.
“The Ministry of Defense intends to find opportunities to increase the defense capacity of the state. For this, we cooperate with our partners, international organizations. Here I will celebrate the assistance of the EU,” said the head of the department.
The minister noted that the air defense remains a priority for Moldova, in addition to the airspace monitoring systems, the possibility of discussing and transition to the next stage for air defense systems was revealed. Nosyaty said that possible assistance from the EU is also discussed.
“The issue is not yet approved. The final decision is expected in the coming days. I hope it will be in the interests of Moldova. We are discussing air defense systems,” the Minister of Defense said.
According to him, the goal of Moldova is to ensure peace and safety so that the citizens are safe, so that there are no cases of illegal spacing through airspace so that there are no drones near schools or hospitals. “Safety of citizens is priority,” the official emphasized.
Nosy said that the help that Moldova can receive is irrevocable. “All manipulations on the topic of taking loans that children will have to be paid is a lie that the opposition uses to mislead public opinion,” concluded Anatoly Nosy.
