Ministry of Defense of Russian Federation reported return of 75 prisoners of war from Ukraine

75 Russian troops returned to Russia from Ukrainian captivity. This was reported on Friday by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The department noted that 75 prisoners of war of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) were transferred in return.

“Aircraft of the military transport aircraft of the Russian Air Force, released military personnel will be delivered to Moscow for treatment and rehabilitation in medical institutions of the Russian Ministry of Defense. All released medical and psychological assistance are released,” the message said.

When the Russian troops were returned from captivity, the United Arab Emirates provided an intermediary participation of a humanitarian nature, the Russian department added.

In turn, the Coordination Headquarters of Ukraine on the issues of prisoners of war said that according to the results of repatriation measures, the bodies of 212 military personnel were returned to Ukraine.

The previously Commissioner for Human Rights in Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova, said that the exchanges of prisoners between Russia and Ukraine have not been held for several months, because Kyiv “constantly exhibits new, far -fetched requirements”.
