The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported to be controlled by the village of New York (Novgorod) in the Donetsk region of Ukraine.
“As a result of the active actions of the Center forces grouping units, a large grouping of enemy troops was defeated and one of the largest settlements of the Toretskaya agglomeration and the strategically important logistics knot of the Donetsk People’s Republic was liberated,” the Russian department said.
New York is located nine kilometers from the city of Toretsk, which is allegedly opened by the Russian troops from the south to the Slavic-Kramatorsky agglomeration.
