Russian air defense equipment (air defense) over the past night destroyed and intercepted 17 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the regions of the Russian Federation. This is stated in the message of the Russian Ministry of Defense on October 26.
“The air defense systems were intercepted and destroyed by 17 Ukrainian UAVs: eight BPP – over the territory of the Bryansk region, four over the territory of the Belgorod, three over the territory of the Kursk and two above the territory of the Oryol region,” the Russian military department said.
Meanwhile, the Governor of the Oryol Region Andrei Klychkov said that “the enemy increased pressure on the border regions.”
“5 more enemy UAVs are shot down by air defense systems over the Oryol region. According to available information, damage and injured, operational services work. The enemy increased the pressure on the border regions. Orlovschina almost daily becomes the goal of enemy attacks,” he wrote in his own Telegram channel.
