Russian air defense equipment (air defense) over the past night intercepted and destroyed 55 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over six regions. This was reported to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, January 21.
“22 – above the territory of the Bryansk region, 12 – above the territory of the Rostov region, ten – above the territory of the Smolensk region, six UAVs – above the territory of the Voronezh region, four – above the territory of the Saratov region and one above the territory of the Kursk region,” the said in the message of the Russian department.
Meanwhile, the Governor of the Smolensk region Vasily Anokhin said that as a result of the fall of the fragments of UAVs on the ground and on the roofs of individual buildings, fires of the roof were noted.
“According to preliminary information of the regional Ministry of Health, there are no injured,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
The head of the region noted that the windows of residential buildings are damaged, operational services are working at the scene.
Acting Governor of the Rostov Region Yuri Slyusar, in turn, said that 12 UAVs were destroyed in Sholokhovsky and Chertkovsky districts. “Operational duty services clarify the consequences on the ground. According to preliminary data, there are no injured,” wrote in her Telegram channel.
The Governor of the Bryansk Region Alexander Bogomaz announced the destruction of 22 BPL, including two reactive ones. There are no injured and destruction, ”he said.
In addition, temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft were introduced at the airports of Kazan and Ulyanovsk.
At the moment, both aircraft have resumed the reception and release of aircraft.
