Russian air defense equipment (air defense) over the past night intercepted and destroyed 49 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over seven regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Friday, January 31.
“During the last night, the air defense systems were intercepted and destroyed by 49 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles: 25 UAVs – above the territory of the Rostov region; eight – above the territory of the Volgograd region; six – above the territory of the Kursk region; four – above the territory of the Yaroslavl region and by Two – above the territories of the Belgorod, Voronezh regions and the Krasnodar Territory, ” – follows from the publication.
Meanwhile, the Administration of the Volgograd region reported that “at night, January 31, on duty funds of the air defense of the Ministry of Defense in the territory of the Volgograd region, the attack of eight UAVs was reflected”.
“As a result of the fall of the wreckage of one of the UAVs on the territory of the oil refinery, a fire arose that was promptly eliminated. One injured worker of the plant was hospitalized,” the regional administration, located in the Telegram channel.

The Governor of the Vladimir Region Alexander Avdeev said that at night in the Sudogodsky district there was a fall in the unmanned aerial vehicle.
“Law enforcement agencies, the Ministry of Defense, employees of the regional government and local government bodies work on the spot. There are no victims, victims and threats for the population. Small damage received a leap of a private house,” he wrote in the Telegram channel.
