Ministry Of Defense Of Russian Federation Reported Interception Of 40 UAV Over Five Regions

Russian air defense (air defense systems) over the past night intercepted and destroyed 40 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over five regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Tuesday, February 11.

“During the last night, the air defense systems were intercepted and destroyed by 40 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles: 18 UAVs – above the territory of the Saratov region; 13 UAVs – above the territory of the Rostov region, six over the territory of the Bryansk region, two over the territory of the Volgograd region and One is over the territory of the Belgorod region, ”the Russian department said.

The Governor of the Saratov Region Roman Busargin announced damage at an industrial enterprise in the city of Saratov.

“The Air Defense Forces were eliminated by the UAV. There are damage to the industrial enterprise in Saratov. Operational services work in places of possible falls. There are previously no affected ones,” Busargin wrote in his Telegram channel.

According to him, a fire at an industrial enterprise in Saratov after the UAV attack was liquidated.

“Currently, on the sequenic of the Saratov region, the Volga Railway, for technical reasons, is delayed for suburban trains,” the Volga Railway (branch) also reported on the social network.

Meanwhile, the Federal Air Transport Agency reported the introduction of temporary restrictions on the reception and release of aircraft at the airports of Kazan, Kirov, Saratov and Ulyanovsk.
