Ministry Of Defense Of Russian Federation Reported Interception 22 UAVs Per Night 28 February

Russian air defense equipment (air defense) over the past night intercepted and destroyed 22 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over five regions. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation on Friday, February 28.

“During the last night, the air defense systems were intercepted and destroyed by 22 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles: eight BPPs – above the territory of the Oryol region, seven UAVs – above the territory of the Kursk region, four UAVs above the territory of the Bryansk region, one UAV – above the territory of the Smolensk region and two BPLs – above the territory of the Krasnodar Territory,” the report said in a statement.

Meanwhile, the Governor of the Smolensk region of the Russian Federation Vasily Anokhin announced the suppression of the UAV attack in the Vyazemsky district.

“According to preliminary information, an explosion occurred as a result of the fall of the aircraft, there are no injured and destruction. Investigation services are working on the spot,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.
